Calallen<\/a> had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn’t miss a beat now that it’s playoff time. They blew past the Bullard Panthers<\/a> 14-4 on Saturday. Considering the Wildcats have won 29 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday’s blowout was nothing new.<\/p>\n Dallin DeBellas<\/a> was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one triple. That’s the most doubles he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Duke<\/a>, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run and three runs.<\/p>\n They weren’t the only ones making solid contact: Calallen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.<\/p>\n Calallen has been performing incredibly well recently as they’ve won 29 of their last 30 contests. That’s provided a nice bump to their 38-2 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.7 runs. As for Bullard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-12.<\/p>\n As of now, neither Calallen nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.<\/p>\n
