They skirted past the Bullard Panthers<\/a> 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they’re now sitting on 25 straight.<\/p>\n Calallen got a great performance from Collier Carroll<\/a> as he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Carroll has been consistent recently: he hasn’t tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.<\/p>\n On the hitting side, Drayton Mitchell<\/a> was excellent, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. Blake Quinn<\/a> was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.<\/p>\n Calallen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.<\/p>\n Calallen’s record is now 37-2. As for Bullard, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-11.<\/p>\n The teams didn’t have to wait long for a rematch: Calallen beat the Panthers by a score of 14-4 on Saturday.<\/p>\n
