SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Emergency crews responded to a vehicle-versus-house crash Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of Brass Hill, according to fire officials.<\/p>\n
The incident was reported at approximately 4:11 a.m., prompting a response from fire personnel and other emergency responders.<\/p>\n
Officials said a vehicle crashed into a residence, causing damage to the home’s exterior wall. <\/p>\n
Firefighters evaluated one individual at the scene, though no information regarding injuries has been released.<\/p>\n
During the response, firefighters also rescued a dog that was inside the residence at the time of the crash. <\/p>\n
The animal was safely removed from the home and no injuries to the dog were reported.<\/p>\n
In addition to the rescue, fire personnel worked to stabilize the damaged outer wall of the residence and assisted in securing the property by covering a broken window.<\/p>\n
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Sunland Park Police Department.<\/p>\n
