CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 A 38-year-old woman died after being thrown from a vehicle during a rollover crash on the flyover connecting westbound State Highway 358 and northbound State Highway 286 early Thursday morning, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.<\/p>\n
Police said the crash happened around 2:37 a.m. on the ramp connecting westbound South Padre Island Drive to northbound Crosstown.<\/p>\n
Investigators said a single vehicle struck a concrete barrier and rolled over. During the crash, the 38-year-old female passenger was ejected from the vehicle.<\/p>\n
Police said the woman was taken to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Police said the crash investigation remains ongoing and the official crash report has not yet been completed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
As of Thursday morning, the driver had not been cited or charged in connection with the crash. However, police said that could change as the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
