After guiding the Aggies to their first national championship in just his third season, head volleyball coach Jamie Morrison is being rewarded in a big way.

On Friday, the university announced that Morrison, now entering his fourth year, will receive a new five‑year contract worth $3.35 million, a deal that positions him among the highest‑paid volleyball coaches in the nation. His base salary will jump from $305,000 to $650,000, with annual increases built in. Much like his previous agreement, the contract remains heavily incentive‑driven.

Depending on postseason success and individual accolades, Morrison can earn more than $400,000 in additional bonuses. His aggressive, high‑tempo style has made A&M one of the most entertaining teams in the country, and once the Aggies find their rhythm, they’re nearly impossible to slow down.
