AUSTIN (KXAN) \u2013 A signature Austin fundraiser blending art and advocacy returns this weekend, as Art Bra Austin 2026 takes the stage at the Fairmont Austin.<\/p>\n
The event, themed “Radiance Reclaimed,” features wearable art pieces created by designers, artists and jewelers. The one-of-a-kind creations are modeled on the runway by breast cancer survivors.<\/p>\n
Organizers say this year’s theme emphasizes sustainability, with many pieces incorporating recycled and repurposed materials while celebrating identity and resilience.<\/p>\n
Beyond the runway show, the evening will include interactive elements such as silent and live auctions, games and opportunities for attendees to win prizes, including a featured getaway. The event will also include a male breast cancer survivor on the runway, aiming to raise awareness that the disease can affect men.<\/p>\n
Art Bra Austin benefits the Breast Cancer Resource Center, a Central Texas nonprofit that provides free services to individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Those services include patient navigation, financial assistance, educational programs and support groups.<\/p>\n
In 2025, the organization served more than 3,000 family members, with many clients living below 300% of the federal poverty level.<\/p>\n
Event organizers say funds raised help ensure access to care and support regardless of income or background in Central Texas.<\/p>\n
