Grounds are already saturated, leading to flooding in low-lying areas across parts of North Texas. <\/p>\n<p>More heavy rain is expected on Sunday, so the Flood Watch remains in effect until 4 p.m. due to flooding concerns. Storms are also possible, especially those east of the I-35 corridor. <\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/flood-watch.png#.png\" alt=\"flood-watch.png \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Sunday will be cloudy with winds from the south gusting up to 25 mph. Expect temperatures to climb into the low 90s, with a heat index or feels-like value in the upper 90s by the afternoon. By the evening, conditions will be clear. Skies will be mostly sunny, and temperatures will be in the low 90s.<\/p>\n<p>Next week, a high-pressure system will build, allowing for conditions to heat up and the sun to shine. Highs will climb into the mid and upper-90s by midweek.
