Ezequiel Duran<\/a> was 4-for-5 with a double, one run and three RBIs, and Jacob deGrom<\/a> (5-4) carried a shutout into the sixth inning as Texas<\/a> took two of three games in the series.<\/p>\n

Jake Burger<\/a> was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Jung had two hits for Texas, which had 16 hits in the blowout win.<\/p>\n

In the first, Jung singled and scored when Foscue hammered a low fastball 417 feet to left field for a 2-0 lead.<\/p>\n

The Rangers took a 6-0 lead with a four-run third that featured four hits. With one out, the Rangers extended their lead to 3-0 when Jung lined his eighth home run of the season to the opposite field. After Joc Pederson<\/a> flied out, Brandon Nimmo<\/a> doubled off the left field wall and Foscue walked to put runners on first and second.<\/p>\n

Duran’s two-run double scored Nimmo and Foscue. Burger’s slow roller to third base led to an infield hit that knocked in Duran and extended the Rangers’ advantage to 6-0.<\/p>\n

Texas took a 7-0 lead in the fourth when Langford scorched a line-drive home run to left field.<\/p>\n

As the Rangers amassed their lead, deGrom’s strong outing featured a seven-pitch, 1-2-3 fourth.<\/p>\n
