(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wsfa.com\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"http:\/\/www.wsfa.com\">WSFA<\/a>) &#8211; A Plantersville man died in a single-vehicle crash about 9:10 a.m. Friday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Leonard Parten Jr., 59, was driving a Ford pickup when it left the roadway and struck a tree, the agency said. Parten was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The crash happened on Alabama 219 near mile marker 7, about three miles north of Selma.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">No information on the cause of the crash was immediately released.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Not reading this story on the WSFA News App?
