Trumbull, CT \u2013 June 7, 2026 \u2013 At St. Catherine\u2019s, many parishioners celebrated the Solemnity of Corpus Christi this morning with a beautiful Mass, followed by a Eucharistic Procession to the NIA Green, where they held Benediction at the community\u2019s gazebo. Then they retraced our footsteps back to St. Catherine\u2019s for final Benediction.<\/p>\n
Scores of parishioners \u2014 from the very young to the very young at heart \u2014 accompanied clergy, servers, musicians and Christ Himself in a beautiful procession. It was a clear and concrete witness to the truth of the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.<\/p>\n
Father Marcello, the pastor, noted: When Jesus put himself in the Eucharist, He took a terrible risk of being forgotten. But He thought the risk was worth it if we don\u2019t forget Him. Let\u2019s remember that: Jesus took the risk of being forgotten by most of humanity, if only we remember He\u2019s there.<\/p>\n
