As a result, Sorsby took his case to a Texas court, seeking an injunction that would allow him to remain eligible to play college football.<\/p>\n<p>Sorsby wanted a quick ruling so he could make a decision about potentially entering the 2026 NFL Supplemental Draft, which has a June 22 deadline. Instead, it appears Sorsby will play for the Red Raiders after all.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the latest on Sorsby&#8217;s case.<\/p>\n<p>Is Brendan Sorsby allowed to play in 2026?<\/p>\n<p>Sorsby was granted an injunction in his case against the NCAA, which will mean he is eligible to play in the 2026 season.
