The 19-story, 42-year-old Sheraton Arlington Hotel was blown up and leveled to make way for a new luxury Americana by Loews Hotels.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who woke up to watch the demolition was treated to a masterclass in pyrotechnics as the 19-story hotel which loomed over Arlington folded in on itself like a house of cards crashing down. It was truly a sight to behold.<\/p>\n<p>Historic Sheraton Arlington Hotel Demolished In Texas<\/p>\n<p>Longtime BroBible readers are fully aware by now that I have a mild obsession with hotel demolitions. There is just something so perfect about meticulous planning to take down a building surrounded by commerce and suburbia and watching it evaporate into thin air because the pyrotechnics went off without a hitch. Every time I see a great demolition video I\u2019m reminded that I went into the wrong industry and my guidance counselor never told me this was an option\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Fox News 4 Dallas-Fort Worth live streamed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/news\/arlingtons-historic-sheraton-hotel-set-to-be-imploded-saturday-morning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Sheraton Arlington Hotel implosion<\/a> for the whole world to see. Check it out:<\/p>\n<p>Compared to the recent demolition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/brobible.com\/culture\/article\/mandarin-oriental-miami-demolition-aftermath\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami<\/a> which caused a massive dust storm that engulfed downtown, the demolition of the historic Sheraton went off without a hitch.
