During the week of May 22-31, 2026, the department handled 19 service calls concerning various types of bikes, such as pocket bikes, mini bikes, and e-bikes, which have been identified as a quality-of-life concern in the community. Among these calls, one involved a crash. The police impounded 14 bikes, issued 12 citations, and made three arrests during this time, according to a press release from the department.<\/p>\n
