Midland returns home without the ace of its pitching staff as left-hander Wei-En Lin was promoted to Triple-A Las Vegas on its recent road trip.<\/p>\n
Lin ranked second in the Texas League in earned run average (1.93), WHIP (0.84) and opponent\u2019s average (.167) at the time of his promotion.<\/p>\n
While Lin was promoted, the RockHounds announced that former Texas A&M pitcher Will Johnston has joined the active roster after beginning the season on the injured list.
