Seven restaurants in Plano were temporarily closed due to low health inspection scores, inadequate refrigeration, rodent droppings, and water issues, according to data from the city<\/a> collected by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.<\/p>\n

There were a total of 89 inspections from May 24-30. Two of the seven restaurants closed due to low scores, and the other five closed due to a cutoff of water supply.<\/p>\n

Plano uses a rating system that is separate from Fort Worth\u2019s with 100 being a perfect score and 70 considered a very low score.<\/p>\n

Bund Wok, at 617 K Ave. Ste 100, was closed due to its score of 38 and inadequate refrigeration equipment to maintain foods at required temperatures. Rodent droppings were also found in the restaurant.<\/p>\n

A few rodent droppings were also found at Pie Tap, at 1900 Preston Road. Pie Tap scored 96.<\/p>\n

West African Way, at 1405 Jupiter Road Ste 116, closed due to its score of 59.<\/p>\n

The following establishments were closed when the water supply to their strip center was cut off. They were permitted to reopen when water returned.<\/p>\n

Bazaria Sweets, 700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Ste 102. Score 98Haji Aslam Biryani And Tandoori Naan, 700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Ste 114. Score 98Jane\u2019s Donuts, 700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Ste 104. Score 98Pita Town, 700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Ste 106. Score 98Subway #2957, 700 W. Spring Creek Parkway, Ste 109. Score 98<\/p>\n

Separately, Winners BBQ, at 3200 14th St., was re-inspected and given a score of 99. The restaurant has fixed all the violations that resulted in its previous closure<\/a> and was given a permit to reopen effective immediately.<\/p>\n
