\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe classic seafood restaurant is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its original location on Westpark Drive in Houston. It has served Houston residents fresh catches daily for the last four decades and has since opened a second location off the Katy Freeway, officials said.<\/p>\n
A long time coming<\/p>\n
To commemorate this milestone, both locations of the eatery are offering summer-long specials through Sept. 30 where guests can enjoy throwback pricing from the original menu, daily happy hours, limited edition food items inspired by the company\u2019s history and 40% off wine bottles every Wednesday, according to a June 8 news release.<\/p>\n
Goode Company Seafood is additionally partnering with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation to introduce a limited edition fire-branded Brazos Bottom Pecan Pie Box for purchase, officials said. A portion of the proceeds collected from box orders will go toward Gulf and coastal conservation by the TPWF. Patrons can purchase a box through the restaurant\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n
