Rooted on a 30-acre, park-like campus in Montrose, the museum is entirely free to the public and boasts a world-class, diverse permanent collection that spans centuries and continents. <\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"816\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/magritte.jpg\" alt=\"Image shows The Memoirs of a Saint (Les m\u00e9moires d'un saint). \" class=\"wp-image-34836\"  \/>Photo credit: Menil Collection<\/p>\n<p>The museum is anchored by the Menil Collection Main Building \u2013 the first U.S. museum designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano.
