BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) – A Bossier City restaurant owner will serve meals during the 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a> in Dallas.<\/p>\n

Israel Andrade, owner of La Dolce Vita<\/a>, will cook for guests in the suites during World Cup matches. The tournament begins Thursday, June 11.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, I\u2019m living the American dream. I don\u2019t have words to express how I feel,\u201d Andrade said. \u201cI mean, just to be there\u2014it\u2019s already exciting. To be there\u2026 because it\u2019s going to be something great and amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrade said he feels honored to participate in the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is going to be great, and I feel very honored and grateful to be there,\u201d he said. \u201cLike you said, it\u2019s one of the last times to do something like that. And I\u2019m excited. I love soccer too, but it\u2019s going to be great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrade is originally from Mexico City and later moved to the U.S., where he developed a passion for American-Italian cooking. He has cooked for the Dallas Cowboys.<\/p>\n

Andrade does not yet know who he will be serving during the matches. He said he hopes his food leaves a lasting impression.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor them to taste something that I\u2019m going to be making\u2014it makes it even better,\u201d Andrade said. \u201cThey can go back to their country and say, \u2018Hey, the food in the stadium was amazing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Andrade said being part of the World Cup is a dream come true for the lifelong soccer fan.<\/p>\n

After the games wrap up in Dallas, Andrade will return to Bossier City to welcome customers at La Dolce Vita.<\/p>\n
