The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) owns the property. As the property\u2019s lender, Freddie Mac took back the property from the owner who was in default. The auction is scheduled for June 24, with a starting bid of $9.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>The property at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apartments.com\/1601-royal-crest-dr-austin-tx\/159d6x5\/?msockid=1812e5cd0223650b371ef43003be6452\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">1601 Royal Crest Drive<\/a> is developed with several garden-style apartment buildings built in 1968, 1970, 1971 and 1973.
