{"id":332625,"date":"2026-06-11T20:05:13","date_gmt":"2026-06-11T20:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/332625\/"},"modified":"2026-06-11T20:05:13","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T20:05:13","slug":"what-keller-residents-need-to-know-for-the-city-council-place-4-runoff-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/332625\/","title":{"rendered":"What Keller residents need to know for the City Council, Place 4 runoff race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe last day to vote in the <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/election\/2026\/06\/08\/qa-medeiros-armstrong-to-meet-in-runoff-race-for-keller-city-council-place-4\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Keller City Council, Place 4<\/a> runoff election is June 13.<\/p>\n<p>Keller voters will decide between Russ Medeiros and Jarrett Armstrong as the Place 4 representative after no candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the May 2 local election.<\/p>\n<p>What you need to know<\/p>\n<p>According to previous <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/dallas-fort-worth\/keller-roanoke-northeast-fort-worth\/election\/2026\/05\/02\/updated-whatley-randklev-win-keller-city-council-seats-place-4-heads-to-runoff\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reporting<\/a>, Medeiros received 2,560 votes, or 41.75% of the vote, while Armstrong received 2,396 votes, or 39.07%.<\/p>\n<p>Candidate Elda Rata finished third in the three-way race and did not advance to the runoff election.<\/p>\n<p>The winner of the runoff election will earn the Place 4 seat on Keller City Council.<\/p>\n<p>What else?<\/p>\n<p>Election day is June 13. Polls will be open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at select Tarrant County polling locations.<\/p>\n<p>Keller voters can cast ballots at any county polling location on election day.
