{"id":335670,"date":"2026-06-14T04:47:11","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T04:47:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/335670\/"},"modified":"2026-06-14T04:47:11","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T04:47:11","slug":"man-dies-after-hitting-parked-trailer-on-don-haskins-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/335670\/","title":{"rendered":"Man dies after hitting parked trailer on Don Haskins"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Just past midnight on Saturday, June 13, the El Paso Police Special Traffic Investigation (STI) Unit found a serious collision that left one man dead.<\/p>\n<p>The STI Unit responded to the 1300 block of Don Haskins for a vehicle collision. A preliminary investigation found a 2007 Nissan Xterra was traveling east on Don Haskins when it struck the rear of a parked Kenworth truck and box trailer that were parked facing east.<\/p>\n<p>Ricardo Martinez suffered serious injuries and later died from said injuries sustained in the collision.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said speed was a contributing factor.
