HOUSTON \u2013 Voters across the Houston area are casting their ballots on Nov. 4, 2025, to decide key school board trustee positions and bond propositions in several local districts.<\/p>\n
The election includes races for the Houston Independent School District, Aldine ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, Klein ISD, and Lamar Consolidated ISD, among others. Voters will determine who will oversee billions in budgets, set district policies, and shape education priorities for students across the region.<\/p>\n
Polling places are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day, with early voting held Oct. 20\u201331.<\/p>\n
In Houston ISD, multiple trustee seats are on the ballot as the district continues its state-appointed management transition.<\/p>\n
Aldine ISD voters are choosing new trustees and weighing a bond proposal aimed at upgrading campuses and expanding career and technical education programs.<\/p>\n
In Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, the state\u2019s third-largest district, several trustee seats are up for election amid discussions over campus security and growth management.<\/p>\n
Klein ISD voters are deciding on board members who will help set policy on teacher pay, academic resources, and long-term district planning.<\/p>\n
Lamar Consolidated ISD has both trustee positions and a bond package on the ballot that would fund new schools and infrastructure to accommodate increasing enrollment.<\/p>\n
