Assembly Park is preparing to add a new experience for North Texas nightlife enthusiasts.<\/p>\n
Blender Brands announced plans to expand Assembly Icehouse with a new 2,200-square-foot adults-only lounge, transforming the space currently occupied by Tacoro Tacos & Tequila into an upscale destination focused on premium spirits, curated music and elevated socializing.<\/p>\n
The new concept will mark the first adults-only venue within Assembly Park and represents the next phase of growth for Assembly Icehouse, which has quickly established itself as a popular gathering spot since opening in November 2025.<\/p>\n
A Different Kind Of Night Out<\/p>\n
While Assembly Icehouse has become known for its family-friendly atmosphere, sports viewing, live entertainment and elevated comfort food, the new lounge is being designed specifically for guests 21 and older. Plans call for a refined cocktail program, private spirit lockers, a pool table and a vinyl listening experience featuring an extensive record collection available for guests to enjoy throughout the evening.<\/p>\n
According to Blender Brands, the goal is to create a space centered on conversation, music and premium hospitality rather than a traditional bar environment.<\/p>\n
“Assembly Icehouse has been embraced by the community in a way that exceeded our expectations,” said JR Mu\u00f1oz in an official statement. “As we looked at what was next, we saw an opportunity to create something completely different within Assembly Park.”<\/p>\n
Mu\u00f1oz said the lounge is intended to offer an elevated experience where guests can enjoy exceptional spirits, great music and meaningful connections in a more intimate setting.<\/p>\n

Building On Assembly Icehouse’s Success<\/p>\n
Since opening late last year, Assembly Icehouse has become one of Assembly Park’s anchor destinations. The 4,850-square-foot venue features a rustic-industrial design, vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a covered patio overlooking the development’s central lawn. Its menu includes elevated comfort-food favorites such as smashburgers, chicken and waffles, double-fried wings and the popular Tejas Philly.<\/p>\n
The addition of the new lounge will allow Blender Brands to offer two distinct experiences within the same destination, one geared toward families and groups, and another designed exclusively for adults.<\/p>\n
Another Addition To Assembly Park<\/p>\n
The expansion continues Assembly Park’s evolution as a growing hospitality and entertainment destination in Plano. The mixed-use development is home to several Blender Brands concepts, including Cliff Coffee, Assembly Icehouse and Tacoro Tacos & Tequila, as well as community events and entertainment programming throughout the year.<\/p>\n
Developers say the lounge will further strengthen Assembly Park’s position as a destination where visitors can experience dining, entertainment and nightlife within a single campus.<\/p>\n
