Lubbock<\/a>, and this lineup is stacked. I am honestly stunned to see so many old friends and familiar names all on one bill. Of course, I also know these people have amazing hearts to go right along with their amazing talent, so maybe it should be expected.<\/p>\nThe event features a full day of music, food, drinks, and friends, all benefiting the Children\u2019s Home Of Lubbock.<\/p>\n
Who Is The Mystery Guest?<\/p>\n
With so many great names on the bill, there\u2019s one question I can\u2019t get past: who is that \u201cSpecial Guest\u201d at 7:30?<\/p>\n
Do you think it\u2019s someone big, or just an open space waiting to be filled? Who wouldn\u2019t want their name mentioned in advance? If they\u2019re trying to tease us and build a little mystery, then mission accomplished.<\/p>\n
I\u2019d also like to shine a spotlight on former FMX air personality Michael X-Ray Corbin, who hits the stage at 11:30. That sounds like the perfect time to drop by, grab some tacos, and rock out with an old friend.<\/p>\n
The \u201cFor The Kids\u201d benefit happens this Saturday in the courtyard at Abuelo\u2019s at 82nd & Quaker from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Admission is by donation, with proceeds benefiting the Children\u2019s Home Of Lubbock.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s great music for a great cause, and a reminder of just how much talent and heart we have right here in Lubbock.<\/p>\n
