{"id":338967,"date":"2026-06-16T22:13:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T22:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/338967\/"},"modified":"2026-06-16T22:13:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T22:13:08","slug":"city-of-plano-partners-with-trade-association-to-host-wireless-industry-career-fair","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/338967\/","title":{"rendered":"City of Plano partners with trade association to host Wireless Industry Career Fair"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fourteen companies will be available, offering entry-level and management opportunities in technology, logistics, device repair and supply chain careers.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>The City of Plano is partnering with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ctia.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CTIA<\/a>, a trade association for wireless careers, to host a Wireless Industry Career Fair on Thursday, June 18.<\/p>\n<p>Fourteen <a href=\"https:\/\/news.samsung.com\/us\/samsung-care-creating-career-pathways-next-generation\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">companies<\/a> will be available, offering entry-level and management opportunities in technology, logistics, device repair and supply chain careers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe Dallas-Fort Worth region has become a major hub for the wireless industry\u2019s reverse logistics sector, which supports the repair, refurbishment, processing and redistribution of millions of smartphones, tablets, laptops and gaming devices each year,\u201d the press release stated. \u201cAs demand for device repair and resale continues to grow, so does the need for skilled technicians and support professionals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event will take place at the Plano Event Center, located at 2000 E.
