A 58-year-old man was exiting his pickup truck parked in front of a home when he was hit by a speeding car and seriously injured, Crime Stoppers of El Paso said.<\/p>\n

The unsolved hit-and-run crash<\/a> occurred about 2:30 a.m. on March 1 in the 4500 block of Hercules Avenue in Northeast El Paso. The case is Crime Stoppers’ Crime of the Week.<\/p>\n

El Paso police investigators found evidence at the scene indicating the hit-and-run vehicle was a gray 2019 to 2025 Volkswagen Jetta, Crime Stoppers said. The car will have crash damage to its right front bumper and passenger door mirror, police said.<\/p>\n

The car was recorded on nearby security cameras and was last seen heading west uphill on Hercules Avenue and crossing Dyer Street.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information on the Hercules hit-and-run may anonymously call\u00a0Crime Stoppers of El Paso<\/a>\u00a0at 915-566-8477 (TIPS) or leave a tip online at cselpaso.org<\/a>. Tipsters could be eligible for a cash reward if information leads to an arrest.<\/p>\n
