{"id":340683,"date":"2026-06-18T01:56:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T01:56:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/340683\/"},"modified":"2026-06-18T01:56:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-18T01:56:08","slug":"el-paso-county-man-pleads-guilty-to-organizing-cockfights-gets-2-years-probation-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/340683\/","title":{"rendered":"El Paso County man pleads guilty to organizing cockfights, gets 2 years\u2019 probation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 A 60-year-old man pleaded guilty to cockfighting charges in El Paso County on Wednesday and has been sentenced to two years of probation.  <\/p>\n<p>According to court records, Isidoro Martinez Amparan pled guilty to organizing cockfights and was sentenced to 24 months&#8217; probation. <\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/kfoxtv.com\/news\/local\/el-paso-county-man-arrested-for-organizing-illegal-cockfighting-event?src=link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">El Paso County man arrested for organizing cockfighting event<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Amparan was arrested back in March after detectives identified him as an organizer of illegal cockfighting events near Socorro following a complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies from the Peter J.
