\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHays County is proposing the development of an approximately $65 million administrative facility on the city of Kyle\u2019s east side. The Eastside Campus would be a three-story building housing 175 total staff members and a variety of services.<\/p>\n
On June 25, Hays County will host an open house to share information on the development and gather feedback from community members. The come-and-go event will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Gemstone Palace, 1101 Bunton Creek Road, Kyle.<\/p>\n

In August 2025, the city of Kyle agreed to combine three development projects through a memorandum of understanding with Hays County: the Hays County Eastside Campus, a regional animal shelter<\/a> and Kyle Vista Park.<\/p>\n On Jan. 20, the Hays County Commissioners Court authorized the issuance of $100 million in certificates of obligation to fund office and administrative buildings, including the Eastside Campus, according to previous Community Impact reporting<\/a>.<\/p>\n The open house will provide an opportunity for residents and community members to interact with county staff and ask questions about the services planning to be offered at the facility.<\/p>\n \u201cThis project represents an opportunity to thoughtfully plan for the needs of our growing community,\u201d Hays County Precinct 1 Commissioner Debbie Ingalsbe said in a news release. \u201cBy participating in these open houses, residents can help shape a campus that reflects our shared priorities and supports families across eastern Hays County for years to come.\u201d<\/p>\n
