Princeton ISD Superintendent Donald McIntyre says that when doing a budget, the district prefers to under-project revenue and over-project expenses.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the most conservative way to make sure at the end we\u2019re okay,\u201d he said as PISD trustees got their first look at a proposed budget during their Monday, June 15, meeting.<\/p>\n

McIntyre said a final budget would not be adopted until August, after public hearings and the receipt of certified taxable property values from Collin Central Appraisal District.<\/p>\n
