Father’s Day is coming up this weekend, and if you’ve ever spent time around a Lubbock day, you know there’s one phrase he does his best to NEVER say:<\/p>\n

“I should probably call someone to fix that.”<\/p>\n

It doesn’t really matter what leaks, breaks, whistles, or may catch fire. Lubbock dads believe they can handle it themselves. Sometimes, they are right. Sometimes the project takes 7 trips to the hardware store, 4 new curse words, and a really long explanation for why the water is shut off for the 4th time in one day…<\/p>\n

With the upcoming holiday, it felt like the perfect time to celebrate the most powerful force found in West Texas: Lubbock\u00a0Dad Confidence.<\/p>\n

He wants to tinker with it in the garage later while your mom watches soaps.<\/p>\n
