<\/p>\nCORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The Corpus Christi Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent a woman to the hospital early Friday morning.<\/p>\n
It happened just after 5:45 a.m. in the 7500 block of Bon Soir Drive, near Yorktown Boulevard and Staples Street.<\/p>\n
Police say officers were called to the home and found a woman who had been shot. She was taken to a local hospital in critical condition. There is no word on the extent of her injuries at this time.<\/p>\n

Very little is known about what led up to the shooting, but police say they do have a suspect they are questioning in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n
The Criminal Investigations Division (CID) of the Corpus Christi Police Department was also called to the scene Friday morning to take photos and collect additional evidence.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made, but police say they will continue to update 3News as the investigation develops.<\/p>\n
