Queen Bee Supply LLC<\/p>\n<p>Local officials had put out the call to all local beekeepers to help with the chaotic cleanup, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kbtx.com\/2026\/06\/22\/millions-bees-escape-after-semi-carrying-hives-overturns-southeast-texas\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">KBTX reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot something you ever want to see, but so nice to see beekeepers helping beekeepers.\u00a0 From commercial outfits to backyard beekeepers, grateful for everyone that came out and helped,\u201d the company wrote in a social media post.<\/p>\n<p>Orange County Emergency Services warned local residents to stay indoors as crews worked to move the beehives from the wrecked semi to other transport vehicles, <a href=\"https:\/\/kogt.com\/un-bee-lievable\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to KOGT<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The truck was hauling 50,000 pounds of bees when it overturned.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:0.79980469;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39749974\" width=\"472\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/estimated-2-million-bees-escaped-131820459.jpg\" alt=\"An estimate 2 million bees escaped after a truck crashed in Texas.\" class=\"wp-image-39749974\"  \/>An estimated 2 million bees escaped after a truck crashed in Texas.
