She said: \u201cThe pupils have really enjoyed it. They worked as a team, and they all took on a role, so it\u2019s been really positive.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was lovely to see their enthusiasm and excitement, and seeing the finished project was just wonderful.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe feedback from parents has been great too, as they said pupils went home and continued the work they were doing in school and worked on it in their own time.\u201d<\/p>\n

The programme is funded by Lancashire County Council <\/a>and Future U, an educational partnership of universities, colleges and businesses, and is delivered by the charity Digital Advantage.<\/p>\n

In celebration of the launch, a celebration was held at County Hall in Preston for students and teachers who took part in the programme.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Cllr Matthew Salter, cabinet member for education and skills, said:\u00a0\u201cIt was fantastic to see first-hand the creativity and variety of content that these young people have produced.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hope this will set them up to embrace the opportunities in Lancashire\u2019s growing digital economy and that more young people will see the possibilities open to them in digital careers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Five other schools from across Lancashire took part in the event.<\/p>\n
