Alcohol has a much lower freezing point than other ingredients (which is why you can leave a bottle of vodka in the freezer indefinitely), so the balance with other ingredients to get it to not only freeze, but freeze creamy, involves some tinkering and mastery.<\/p>\n
This means the soft serve margarita needs some type of creamy base, and perhaps even a thickener\/ gel to get it to set up, like the commonly used food ingredient xanthan gum. I do not know Teddy Jack’s recipe, but I do know they managed to pull it off.<\/p>\n
