HOUSTON \u2013 The Houston Fire Department is responding to a reported warehouse fire in the East End area of the city.<\/p>\n

The fire was reported near the intersection of Manchester and Kellogg Street.<\/p>\n

HFD says the warehouse itself is not burning, but a large pile of trash on the property is. The smoke is visible from Houston Transtar cameras on nearby highways.<\/p>\n

A witness from a nearby business says the fire appears to be burning at a metal recycling facility.<\/p>\n

HFD says no injuries have been reported. The department says six engine companies and three ladder trucks have responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

A separate call was made to dispatch an engine to ensure the fire does not spread beyond the tree line, where a neighborhood sits on the other side.<\/p>\n
