{"id":346670,"date":"2026-06-23T05:46:59","date_gmt":"2026-06-23T05:46:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/346670\/"},"modified":"2026-06-23T05:46:59","modified_gmt":"2026-06-23T05:46:59","slug":"plano-welcomes-ultras-nippon-ahead-of-netherlands-vs-japan-in-world-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/346670\/","title":{"rendered":"Plano welcomes Ultras Nippon ahead of Netherlands vs. Japan in World Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PLANO, Texas \u2014 Before the Netherlands and Japan <a href=\"http:\/\/fifa-world-cup-what-to-know-if-youre-attending-japan-netherlands-at-dallas-stadium\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">face off Sunday afternoon<\/a> at Dallas Stadium in the World Cup, the city of Plano welcomed the Japanese team&#8217;s fans to a celebration Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Japan Day: Ultras Meets Plano&#8221; was held at McCall Plaza in the Downtown Plano Arts District in partnership with Ultras Nippon, the major support group for the Japanese national soccer team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The night of cultural exchange between Plano and Japan included live music from a Japanese musician and a DJ, as well as a supporter cheer exchange between Ultras Nippon and the Dallas Beer Guardians, supporters of FC Dallas.
