\n\tRon Perlman<\/a> has joined the season three cast for Prime Video thriller\u00a0Cross<\/a>\u00a0in a recurring role.<\/p>\n

\n\tHe recently starred in\u00a0The Capture,\u00a0Fallout,\u00a0Poker Face,\u00a0The Instigators and\u00a0Day of Fight, and will next be seen in the Cape Fear\u00a0series and\u00a0Kill Jackie. In the next season of Cross, Perlman will play a hard-driving officer. The part reunites him with showrunner Ben Watkins after their collaboration on Hand of God. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAs Herschel Zamora, Perlman\u2019s character is a cop first and everything else second. Following a series of troubling work-related incidents, Officer Zamora is referred to Dr. Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge<\/a>) for therapy. As Cross digs deeper, he realizes Zamora may be concealing something far more troubling than PTSD,\u201d a synopsis from the producers reads.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the Cross crime drama, Hodge plays a brilliant homicide detective and forensic psychologist who digs into the minds of serial killers to\u00a0identify and catch them. The second season ended with a major <\/a>decision made by Cross that will impact his future as a detective in season three.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe second season followed billionaire business titan Lance Durand (Matthew Lillard) when he calls the FBI for protection after receiving a death threat \u2014 one that links him to the\u00a0murder of a billionaire playboy<\/a>. Detective Cross and FBI Agent Kayla Craig (Alona Tal) led a new joint mission to protect Durand and find the killer, who left behind gruesome clues. Meanwhile, John Sampson (Isaiah Mustafa), Cross\u2019 partner and longtime best friend,\u00a0made an unexpected connection<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tWatkins created and executive produces Cross for co-producers Amazon MGM Studios and Paramount Television Studios. The executive producer credits for the upcoming eight new episodes are also shared by Craig Siebels, James Patterson, J. David Shanks, Aiyana White, Sam Ernst, Jim Dunn, Leah Benavides Rodriguez, Carlito Rodriguez, Owen Shiflett, Bill Robinson, Patrick Santa and Hodge.<\/p>\n
