{"id":348464,"date":"2026-06-24T13:08:08","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T13:08:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/348464\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T13:08:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T13:08:08","slug":"teen-killed-another-facing-murder-charge-in-west-dallas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/348464\/","title":{"rendered":"Teen killed, another facing murder charge in West Dallas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 16-year-old was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/homicide\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">killed,<\/a> and another 16-year-old is facing a murder charge following an early-morning shooting Tuesday in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/west-dallas\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">West Dallas<\/a>, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/topic\/dallas-police\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">police.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dallas police responded to a shooting call about 2:05 a.m. in the 3700 block of Bayside Street, police said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>According to a preliminary investigation, the two teens were involved in a dispute that escalated into a shooting.
