{"id":348899,"date":"2026-06-24T19:47:21","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T19:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/348899\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T19:47:21","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T19:47:21","slug":"jpmorgan-chase-to-close-plano-call-center-and-lay-off-244-employees-company-says","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/348899\/","title":{"rendered":"JPMorgan Chase to close Plano call center and lay off 244 employees, company says"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/tag\/jpmorgan-chase\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">JPMorgan Chase <\/a>is closing a call center at its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/tag\/plano\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Plano<\/a> campus and laying off 244 employees, according to a notice filed with the Texas Workforce Commission.<\/p>\n<p>The layoffs were announced Tuesday and affected employees will receive formal 60-day notices as required under the federal <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dol.gov\/agencies\/eta\/layoffs\/warn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act<\/a>.
