{"id":348936,"date":"2026-06-24T20:21:26","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T20:21:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/348936\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T20:21:26","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T20:21:26","slug":"rush-postpones-dallas-show-due-to-border-related-delays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/348936\/","title":{"rendered":"Rush postpones Dallas show due to border-related delays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Courtesy of Live NationThe band is on its Fifty Something Tour<\/p>\n<p>Rush has postponed the first of their four scheduled concerts in Dallas-Fort Worth by a week, citing \u201ctravel and border-related delays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDue to unforeseen travel and border-related delays impacting our touring production following our recent Mexico City tour dates, tonight\u2019s show in Fort Worth at Dickies Arena has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 2,\u201d they share on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rushtheband\/posts\/pfbid0gyfabBY8B3xCuR7mddqfz33LkJD98e8az3WjDBcHHukKHVddHoDVnDkkSifRTdJ3l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">social media<\/a>. \u201cAll fans holding a ticket for tonight\u2019s June 24 show will be able to use that same ticket for the rescheduled performance on July 2 at Dickies Arena. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding given these circumstances out of our control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fans who are unable to attend the rescheduled date may request a refund through the original point of purchase.<\/p>\n<p>The band will resume its <a href=\"https:\/\/themusicuniverse.com\/rush-extends-fifty-something-tour-internationally-in-2027\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fifty Something Tour<\/a> as scheduled for the remaining Dallas-Fort Worth dates on Friday, June 26th, Sunday, June 28th, and Tuesday, June 30th at Dickies Arena.<\/p>\n<p>The Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame inductees kicked off the highly anticipated trek earlier this month with <a href=\"https:\/\/themusicuniverse.com\/rushs-rapturous-return-features-two-sets-and-a-tribute-to-neil-peart\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">four sold-out shows at Los Angeles<\/a>\u2018 Kia Forum, marking the band\u2019s first tour performance in 11 years. The show launched a landmark run celebrating more than five decades of Rush music and legacy, bringing the band full circle, as Kia Forum was also the site of Rush\u2019s final R40 Tour performance on August 1, 2015, with longtime band member Neil Peart, who passed away in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are joined by acclaimed drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold.
