{"id":349047,"date":"2026-06-24T21:45:58","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T21:45:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/349047\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T21:45:58","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T21:45:58","slug":"suspect-accused-of-midland-club-shooting-arrested-in-lubbock","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/349047\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspect accused of Midland club shooting arrested in Lubbock"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) &#8211; A 43-year-old man previously wanted in connection with a shooting near Club Remy has been arrested in Lubbock and is currently in custody, according to Midland police.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Midland police have said officers responded around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstalert7.com\/2026\/06\/22\/police-investigating-incident-midland-business\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.firstalert7.com\/2026\/06\/22\/police-investigating-incident-midland-business\/\">3:12 a.m. June 21 to a report of a gunshot victim in the area of South Lee Street<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Investigators determined the shooting happened near Club Remy in the area of South Lee Street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said the victim, a 25-year-old Midland man, was taken by private vehicle to Midland Memorial Hospital.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"> The victim was last reported to be in stable but critical condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police previously identified the suspect as Jarmar Monk, and said a warrant had been issued for his arrest. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officials now say Monk has been arrested in Lubbock and is in custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The case is being investigated as an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KOSA.
