A suspect in an early Sunday morning shooting <\/a>that left a 25-year-old injured has now been arrested in Lubbock on Wednesday, according to City Officials.\u00a0<\/p>\nJarmar Monk, 43, was previously identified as a suspect, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.<\/p>\n
On Sunday, police responded to the 200 block of South Lee Street around 3:12 a.m. At the scene located in Midland’s downtown area near Club Remy, investigators learned that a 25-year-old victim had been rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital in a personal vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds.\u00a0<\/p>\n
At last report, the victim was listed in stable but critical condition, officials said.\u00a0<\/p>\n
MPD is investigating the incident as an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, Monk was arrested by the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office and is in custody on an other agency hold.<\/p>\n
