The estimated restoration time EPE is providing customers is 11 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"899\" height=\"439\" decoding=\"async\" data-nimg=\"1\" class=\"rounded-lg\" style=\"color:transparent\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/4f206c25de08d4fff7da6f99c67ff543.jpeg\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A spokesperson for El Paso Electric says the power outage is due to the ongoing extreme heat wave in the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">They also noted that this wasn\u2019t the only power outage in the Borderland.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cAt this time, there are 19 outages impacting approximately 4,632 customers across Texas and New Mexico,\u201d the spokesperson said. \u201cThese outages may not be related and cannot always be resolved within the normal estimated restoration times. As a result, the Estimated Restoration Times may default to the same value across multiple outages, but they do not necessarily reflect the exact restoration time for each specific location.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">All available crews and additional personnel are actively responding to the outages for restoration efforts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">We will update you once power is restored.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
