One of America’s largest private landowners with roughly 868,000 acres in the Permian Basin, Texas Pacific Land (NYSE:TPL) owns land in West Texas and earns revenue from oil and gas royalties, water services, and land leases. <\/p>\n

Texas Pacific Land reported revenues of $236.8 million, up 20.8% year on year. This print fell short of analysts’ expectations by 0.8%. Overall, it was a softer quarter for the company with a significant miss of analysts’ EBITDA estimates. <\/p>\n

Holding the largest acreage position in the Williston Basin, Chord Energy (NASDAQ:CHRD) drills for and produces crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas in North Dakota’s Williston Basin. <\/p>\n

Chord Energy reported revenues of $1.67 billion, up 37.1% year on year, outperforming analysts’ expectations by 33.1%. The business had an exceptional quarter with a beat of analysts’ EPS and EBITDA estimates. <\/p>\n

Matador Resources reported revenues of $671.6 million, down 33.8% year on year, falling short of analysts’ expectations by 23%. It was a softer quarter as it posted a significant miss of analysts’ EBITDA estimates. <\/p>\n

Matador Resources delivered the weakest performance against analyst estimates and slowest revenue growth in the group. As expected, the stock is down 13.4% since the results and currently trades at $50.00. <\/p>\n

HighPeak Energy (NASDAQ:HPK) <\/p>\n

Operating in the oil-rich northeastern corner of the Midland Basin where Howard and Borden counties meet, HighPeak Energy (NASDAQ:HPK) explores for, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas liquids, and natural gas. <\/p>\n

HighPeak Energy reported revenues of $215.9 million, down 20.7% year on year. This result surpassed analysts’ expectations by 1.3%. Overall, it was a strong quarter as it also recorded an impressive beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates. <\/p>\n

The stock is up 10% since reporting and currently trades at $6.80. <\/p>\n

Northern Oil and Gas (NYSE:NOG) <\/p>\n

Taking the path less traveled in the oil industry by choosing not to operate its own wells, Northern Oil and Gas (NYSE:NOG) acquires minority stakes in oil and gas wells operated by other companies across major U.S. shale basins. <\/p>\n

Northern Oil and Gas reported revenues of $526.5 million, down 11.1% year on year. This number topped analysts’ expectations by 3.1%. However, it was a slower quarter as it logged a significant miss of analysts’ EBITDA estimates. <\/p>\n
