Dallas-based investment firm Braemont Capital has named Daniel Grinnan as managing director and Will Olson as vice president of business development to boost the company\u2019s investment sourcing, execution, and portfolio value creation capabilities.<\/p>\n
Robert Covington, Braemont founder and managing partner, said Grinnan\u2019s experience in executing investments and Olson\u2019s expertise in business development will help Braemont continue to expand its portfolio and family office network, offering \u201ca meaningful edge in how we source and support companies.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cBoth share the belief that relationships and trust are the real currency in this business,\u201d Covington added in a statement, \u201cwhich is exactly what Braemont is built on.\u201d<\/p>\n
As managing director, Grinnan will take the lead on sourcing and executing new investments, while supporting the growth and oversight of Braemont\u2019s portfolio companies. Grinnan joins Braemont from the Riverside Company, where he served as Principal and was responsible for originating, executing, and managing investments throughout the firm\u2019s key sectors. Previously, he was an Associate at Newstone Capital Partners and an Investment Banking Analyst at Raymond James.<\/p>\n
In his role as VP, Olson will concentrate on sourcing new investments, supporting strategic initiatives and M&A efforts throughout the firm\u2019s portfolio, as well as continuing to grow Braemont\u2019s Entrepreneur & Family Office Network. Previously, Olson served as VP of corporate development at Vixxo Facility Solutions, a Braemont portfolio company. At Vixxo, he led strategic acquisition initiatives and helped build the company\u2019s M&A function. Prior to Vixxo, he was head of M&A and Capital Markets at Farmers Business Network, and he advised private equity sponsors and corporate clients at Stax Inc. and EY-Parthenon.<\/p>\n
