No. 6 Duke<\/a> begins its quest back to the Final Four with a marquee nonconference matchup against Texas<\/a> at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte<\/a>, North Carolina<\/a>, on Tuesday. While most of the top players from the 2025 recruiting cycle made their respective debuts on Monday <\/a> during opening night of the 2025-26 college basketball season, Duke forward Cameron Boozer<\/a> — a projected top-three pick in the 2026 NBA Draft<\/a> — will make his first appearance at the college level against the Longhorns on Tuesday.<\/p>\n The Blue Devils reached the Final Four earlier this spring for the first time in the Jon Scheyer era. Duke saw several players depart the program, including CBS Sports National Player of the Year Cooper Flagg as well as lottery picks Kon Knueppel and Khamaun Malauch.
