A family disturbance between two adult brothers in southeast Houston escalated into a deadly altercation Friday night, according to police. (OnScene, Copyright 2026 by KPRC Click2Houston – All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n

HOUSTON \u2013 Houston police said a family disturbance between two adult brothers escalated into a violent confrontation Friday night in southeast Houston.<\/p>\n

Officers with the Houston Police Department<\/a>\u2019s Southeast Patrol Division were called around 8 p.m. to the 2500 block of Craigmont Street, near Telephone Road. <\/p>\n

Investigators said the argument turned into an altercation in which both brothers produced weapons and struggled over them.<\/p>\n

During the struggle, one brother was shot outside on the street, police said. Detectives are still working to determine who had which weapon and when during the incident.<\/p>\n

Police said the suspected shooter fled the scene on foot but was later apprehended. <\/p>\n
