What is the good stuff, you ask?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Well for today\u2019s countdown, we thought we\u2019d ask the highest elected official in Plano, Mayor John Muns. Here\u2019s what he came up with:<\/p>\n<p>Our people are amazing<br \/>\nOur schools are amazing<br \/>\nOur companies and small businesses are amazing<br \/>\nOur parks\/green spaces are amazing<br \/>\nWe are a very Safe City<br \/>\nOur medical facilities\/hospitals are amazing<br \/>\nOur citizens enjoy a high quality of life<br \/>\nOur infrastructure is amazing. Not the sexy thing on a list, but people appreciate this.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Muns was elected as mayor in 2021, becoming the 40th mayor of Plano. He previously served on the Plano ISD Board of Trustees, the planning and zoning commission, the YMCA, Plano Orchestra and civic center boards. Fun fact: Muns\u2019 father, James Muns, was the mayor of Plano from 1992-1996.<\/p>\n<p>You can still buy tickets here! <a href=\"https:\/\/go.evvnt.com\/3210336-0?pid=9293\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets<\/a> are $10 and include two cocktails, light bites, entertainment and more.
