suffered a concussion during the Olympics<\/a> while competing for Team Czechia, but during his recovery he had a freak accident where he was stepped on by a skate, causing a serious laceration in his foot that also cut a ligament. \u00a0<\/p>\nNill said in May that Faksa\u2019s injury was concerning, even though he returned for the final two games of the regular season and the playoffs, and might require\u00a0offseason surgery. Nill said Saturday that he had the procedure, and it was successful. Faksa is expected to be available for training camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re actually surprised that he played,\u201d Nill said. \u201cIt needed to be done.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nill added that forward Tyler Seguin, who suffered a season-ending ACL tear in December, is continuing his rehabilitation. He said Seguin is \u201cstill a couple of months\u201d away from being fully healthy but should be available for training camp.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, the Stars aren\u2019t sure whether Seguin will be back to 100% strength at the start of camp in September.\u00a0<\/p>\n
