\t\t\t\t\t\t\tA new Honest Mary\u2019s location is headed for the Seaholm District this summer. Honest Mary\u2019s, known for its simple ingredients and customizable bowls, is targeting a mid-July opening, according to a representative from the brand.<\/p>\n
Construction on the new Honest Mary\u2019s was set to begin last fall, targeting an early 2026 opening date, according to previous Community Impact reporting. <\/a><\/p>\n On the menu<\/p>\n The menu is stocked with signature and customizable bowls, sipping broths and snacks. Signature bowls include the Aloha Poke, prepared with hand-line caught poke, rice, vegetables and a sesame vinaigrette. For a build-your-own bowl, patrons can choose from a protein base, two market sides, two toppings and a sauce.<\/p>\n Customers can also select either a chicken bone broth or a seaweed and mushroom broth, with additional toppings like lemon and parsley or ginger and turmeric. Sweet treats include almond butter cookies and a selection of pre-packaged snacks.<\/p>\n What\u2019s special about it?<\/p>\n The restaurant features dishes made without any artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or additives, according to its website. The menu is 82% free of industrial seed oils and only uses natural sweeteners.<\/p>\n Honest Mary\u2019s also uses hormone-free meat and wild-caught tuna, as opposed to farmed tuna.<\/p>\n The context<\/p>\n Nelson Monteith, Honest Mary\u2019s CEO, founded the company with his wife, Mary Monteith, in 2017. The pair opened the first location in the Arboretum neighborhood in 2017.
